As the new year began, fitness enthusiasts in France turned to their smartphones for virtual training and activity tracking. Sensor Tower's analysis of the top 5 virtual fitness programs for Android users in France during Q1 2024 reveals interesting trends in the market.
Macadam - Walk And Earn started the quarter with downloads around 28K and saw a slight increase before a gradual decline to 17K, ending the quarter stronger at 24K. Weekly active users showed more consistency, hovering around 250K-260K, with a peak of over 280K in the last week of March.
Step Counter - Pedometer experienced fluctuating download numbers, ranging from 13K to over 21K, and closed the quarter with downloads at 15K. Active users peaked at around 70K in late January but generally stayed within the 56K-65K range throughout the quarter.
